Pearl City, also known as Bandar Tasek Mutiara, is located between the Southern & Central District of Penang mainland. Homes in the island, such as from projects like Botanica.CT and high-rise residences such as that of Alila2 are on the higher-end category as lands on the island are precious.

It is not always that property developments get to enjoy ample amount of land to establish new townships anymore these days.

These scarce lands by some property developers were purchased many decades ago, as well, and are only now witnessing more development activities today.

Penang island, being the more cultured and affluent part of the opposition-held state has been enjoying much attention. What with its continuous development, more people are migrating their investment activities over to this side of Malaysia, further spurring a positive trend of progressive development for the state.

That is why buyers would be on the winning side where price is concerned.

Now, a recent purchase by the major developer, Eco World in Batu Kawan area was recorded at $12.44 a square foot. Eco World got a 50 acres’ land north of Batu Kawan to develop another landed project, which will supplement the excitement stirred by Aspen Vision City – according to report from Forbes Asia.

Hence, in time, Malaysia would be able to expect a bustling mainland Penang aside from its UNESCO World Heritage counterpart awarded to the remarkable Georgetown in 2008.

To date, parcels of land in the island are going way much higher than they were just a few years ago, since 2010.
