Analysis
There are two other serviced residence within the vicinity of Renai Jelutong Residences, namely Stellar Residences and Radia Residences. While the project is freehold and is more affordable than the leasehold Stellar Residences, the latter has the advantage of having fewer units. Units at the former are also larger, but the latter has the advantage of being located on top of the TTDI Sentralis mixed-use project and is closer to Shah Alam Stadium and supermarkets.

Versus Radia Residences, the development’s edge is that it has a lower density, but loses out in terms of minimum price. Nonetheless, Renai Jelutong Residences has a slightly lower price per sq ft.
Summary
Renai Jelutong Residences has some pros and cons. For example, it’s competitively priced compared to Stellar Residences and Radia Residences. On top of already being completed, the furnishing is decent with the built-in kitchen cabinets, water heater and air-conditioning units.
It also has some investment and rental potential, as the d’Vida Business Park is just opposite of it. While some people are wary of the lackluster commercial activity within the area, particularly in Bukit Jelutong, business activity is expected to pick-up although slowly.
Buying for own use is also good as it’s surrounded by greenery like the Guthrie Golf Academy Pitch & Putt Course, but buyers may want to note that Masjid Diraja Tengku Ampuan Jemaah is only 370 meters away.
