Project Details
Rimbawan Residences is a low density, mixed development fronted and backed by shady and well-maintained greenery. This means that apart from the generously-sized 27,000 sq ft drop-off foyer (fronted by a central fountain), there is an additional 1,600 metres walking path, shaded by existing green foliage, during entry into this development, and an added acre of greenery at the back.
A single floor facility venue that spans 2 acres, otherwise known as R-Deck, are equipped with Lounge Seat, floating gymnasium, barbecue pit, tennis court, yoga deck, scented garden, multi-purpose hall, multi-purpose room, day care centre, function room, meeting/reading room, laundry/retail, parcourse station, herb garden, medicinal garden, hammock garden, viewing deck, camping deck, and water fountain.
The largest component of this development is the four 21-storey serviced apartments. Featuring a grand total of 504 high-rise units, Tower A and D houses 6 units on every floor whereas Tower B and C has 8 units per floor.
The size of these units start from 872 sq ft featuring 2+1 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, followed by 1,132 sq ft, offering 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, and 1,332 sq ft with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. All high-rise units feature a maximum ceiling height of 3.6 metres. Kitchen areas are divided into wet and dry sections. Each condo unit owner is given 2 parking bays.
Also available are 13 triple storey villas. The intermediate and corner double storey villas measure built-up areas of 3,980 sq ft. An intermediate villa comes with 3 +1 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms while corner villas offer 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a private garden and terraces. The extra land space afford these landed homes with landscaped private gardens, a private lap pool each, and a basement garage (with storage space) that accommodates four cars.
Unfortunately, all these villas have all been sold out at this point in writing.
The entire development is secured by a 5-tier security system complete with a 24-hour on call service maintenance team. Future developments slated to be built adjacent to Rimbawan Residences will be residential and office buildings.
THE SHOW UNIT
Location
Conceptualized by developer Protasco Berhad as a self-sufficient township where work, pleasure, and lifestyle congregate in one location, De Centrum City lies south of Kuala Lumpur, at the education and training institutional grounds of Bangi. This 100-acre land is located closest to both Kajang (approximately 8 km) and Seri Kembangan (approximately 8 km).
De Centrum City – Aerial View. Two highways are shown here namely the North-South Expressway and South Klang Valley Expressway
Serdang Hospital is the nearest hospital. For shopping, you can head to IOI City Mall and Alamanda Shopping Centre in Putrajaya. Surrounding De Centrum City are the mainly residential and commercial towns of Kajang, Bangi, Seri Kembangan, as well as the more corporate towns of Putrajaya and Cyberjaya. In Bandar Baru Bangi, there will be a four-storey shopping mall called Evo Mall which is currently being developed by Andaman Sdn Bhd and Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS). The mall will also be complemented by a street mall promenade called Bangi Walk.
Corporate companies which have staff training centres in close by Bangi include Maybank, CIMB Bank, Public Bank, and RHB Bank. Institutions of higher learning that are closeby include IUKL (located inside De Centrum City itself), Universiti Tenaga Nasional and University Putra Malaysia (UPM). In terms of international schools, there are two close by options – Tanarata International Schools or Nexus International School, at Putrajaya Precinct 15.
Standing at the crossroads of four major highways, namely the North-South Expressway, South Klang Valley Expressway, Kajang Dispersal Link Expressway (SILK), and Sungai Besi Expressway, the development that is to be De Centrum City is still unfolding.
In Kajang town itself, there will be 3 MRT Line 1 stations. The first is called Stadium Kajang station, and the second, Kajang station. One of these stations is located at the KTM Commuter station and will also serve as an interchange station. The third is located at an established township called Saujana Impian. This station is called Sungai Kantan.
Kajang is one of the towns in the Klang Valley whose residents have access to the Selangor Smart Bus Service. The known travel route of this bus begins at the Bus Station at Reko Central to Jalan Besar station in Pekan Kajang.
In terms of food, Kajang is a haven for satay and has been given the nickname “Satay Town”. The most popular destination for savoury cum succulent Kajang satay is at a place called Haji Samuri.

Summary
Rimbawan Residences epitomises a high-rise development that has all the fringe benefits of being enveloped in greenery, and positioned inside an evolving “self-sufficient” township. The vision and unveiling of this township will take place within the next 15 to 20 years.
Existing educational institutions UNITEN and IUKL are currently the main pull factor of this place, with the first phase De Centrum Mall already completed. The demand for rental will mainly come from people who work in the neighbouring districts of Putrajaya, Seri Kembangan and Bangi. But Rimbawan Residences is more well-suited for purchasers with an existing family and relatives who can make full use of its in-house lifestyle facilities.
