This place was originally designed by the British as a satellite township for Kuala Lumpur. It has since developed into a major commercial and industrial hub and was granted a city status on 20 June 2006. Common properties found in this city include shop lots, shopping centres, offices, factories, terrace houses, townhouses, apartments, condominiums and bungalows. Residents in the area ranges from low to high income groups.
