Am a stranger to the Malaysian property market but puzzled by the practice of the strata title of a condo that would take more than 5 years or longer to be disturbed to the condo purchasers.

To make it clear here, my friend purchased a unit in 2018 with fully paid on completion. Till now in mid of 2023, he did not get the title documents of ownership in his unit despite he took the premise and in usage of it.

I was told the title should be under the master title by the developer as the legally registered owner. Please enlighten me in this regard. Thanks
