Are there any genuine studios or 1-bedroom apartments in Petaling Jaya? I've seen so many rental listings misusing the term "studio" - putting a small fridge and microwave in a master bedroom of a shared apartment unit does NOT make it a studio! It's supposed to be its own independent unit, direct from the apartment corridor - if it shares a living space / kitchen with other rooms, then it's not a studio, full-stop.
Because of this mislabeling (unintentional or not...), it's been such a hassle for me to find a unit to rent. The only places that are actual studios would be Empire Damansara and DK Impian, but I've viewed both places and there were just too many downsides (as mentioned in online reviews) for them to be worth living in.
So the big question: Does anyone know other places that have studios and/or 1-bedroom apartments for rent? I really need the personal space so it's important for me to find an affordable unit where it's just me, myself, and I living there. Thanks in advance.
