Ask for mother in law (MIL). To make the long story short, my MIL jointly purchased an apartment with husband.

Due to some family matters, my MIL then bought the house from husband, and settle the bank loan amounting RM30k to bank (many years back from now)...

Meaning that the house now owned by my MIL alone, and bank loan been fully settle.

The bank settlement letter is now missing and the law firm who in-charge this case also no longer in business...

so how to proof she has fully settle the bank loan now? this is one of the document needed to process the issue strata title....

thanks for advice...

With the loan account number, the bank will be able to verify for you. If you request for the settlement letter (redemption) from the bank, they should be able to provide an extract or duplicate copy for you. Read More
