Before I decided to purchase condo unit, I asked the agent if the developer will reduce their selling price if the market is bad, and my agent assured me developer won't reduce selling but only increase it. After 1 year after the condo complete, developer start sell those unsold units with lower price (17% lower than my purchased price), what can I do on this?

Maybe its due to governments new initiative on helping the developers to sell off the overhang properties. Recently they offered a few scheme saying like stamp duty waived and etc... previously most of the developers will say legal fee Free and etc but in actual fact all the cost is absorbed in the selling price. I guess not much can be done here but no harm in getting a proper legal advise. Read More

The agent/negotiator representation to you verbally is hard to proof unless it is written and contracted. The developer may have their own reasons to sell whatever price they deem fit. Read More
