Can an owner of a condo unit renovate his unit to add more rooms so that he can rent to more tenants? For example, he renovated his 2200 sq feet unit so that he can rent to a dozen tenants. Is there a rule for ratio of one adult to 400 sq feet?

Any major renovations has to be approved by the local authority and the building management. Please check out the house rules and the Deed of Mutual Covenants to identify the restriction of use and the number of occupants, if any. Read More
