Coming to K.L looking to rent a condo for myself. Saw some agents advertising online for apartments. The funny thing is that, they said i can pay my deposit online without needing to meet up. Can this be a con job?

Reena,
The common practice is for the Tenant to pay an earnest deposit (booking fee) of 1 month's rent only after viewing the property and agreeing on all commercial terms etc. Real Estate Agents allowed to collect clients' monies must be licensed and registered (and not suspended) with the Board of Valuers, Appraisers and Estate Agents, Malaysia.(www.lppeh.gov.my).
After establishing the above, you may pay the earnest deposit in whichever method you feel comfortable. Should you need any further advise, please do call David Wong at +60193330573  or +60377289108  QUANTUM real estate License No. E(3)1320 Read More
