Dear All,
I have the following concern pls advise me:
I have booked a house from the builder and a deposit of 5000 was paid for which he has given us the receipt and the booking form [ where as as per the terms and conditions of booking form it is indicated the amount is collected as deposit for house] .and by keeping the booking form we have applied for the home loan , if everything goes well the same is expected to be sanctioned this week.
but now the issue is builder is informing us that he don't want to sell the house and he is putting hold on the concerned unit only and he want to increase the price from what we have booked.
Now my concern is this legally possible?
what action can i take as customer.
can some advise me

May I know is under Commercial or Residential title ? If under Residential will protect by Malaysia HDA, You can sue the Landlord by get back Booking Fees plus simulate amount as compensation. If under Commercial, you can direct make police report under Commercial Act and appoint Lawyer to sue the Landlord. You have to take the booking form to consult the Lawyer before take any action.
