Dear Gurus, I bought a house few years ago with my name only in S&P and Loan. I am not married with girlfriend. What happens to the house and loan if I died in accident?
Can I add my girlfriend name as my partner for the house title and the loan, so we can share the ownership equally.Thanks for viewing, hope can get some feedback from gurus.Thanks.

title u can add on your girl friend name. Loan i think no need because when you accident died the insurance will help to cover you loan. Mean you must have insurance, you may go to ask insurance agents. Hope my idea can help you. Read More

Hi Mr.Dave, Since u bough a house few years ago and only put ur name.If at these moment u want to add in ur girlfriend name inside SPA, u will need to redo ur SPA.. No need for loan part, but as long as anything happend to u in accident,and u cannot afford to pay instalment, bank will put ur property under auction. U buy any MRTA or MLA for ur property? If u do so, and anything happen in accident, the property will be free from emcumbrances. For safety purpose, u can write a "WIll" to put the property under ur girlfriend name.
