Foreigner here: I signed S&P for KL condo in June 2013 but am still waiting for State Consent Letter. If letter not obtained by 1st Jan 2014 with new budget ruling of RM1 million minimum purchase what will happen? Will sale be disallowed? What is typical time for consent in KL and can it be sped up?

Hi Mr Foreighner, consent will normally take some time between 6 months to 1 year depending on the complications. The new ruling applies only for S&P signed from 1st June onwards. Need not to worry. Hope this help answer your questions. TQ Khairil Read More
