Hi AskGuru ,
When it comes to mortgage insurance, there is MRTA and MLTA. If I am looking to take MLTA, should I take it directly from the bank or should I purchase from an insurance agent. My banker told me that taking directly from the bank allows me to obtain a lower interest rate, but the beneficiary will be the bank. So can you help advise which is better?
Thank you.
Regards,
Gary
