Hi everyone,

I recently bought a new property in Malaysia and unfortunately discovered some defects after handover. I'm feeling a bit lost on the process for getting these repairs done.

I found this comprehensive guide that outlines the steps involved in handling defect repairs: http://zeroinspection.com/2024/06/27/how-to-handle-defect-repairs-in-your-home-in-malaysia-a-step-by-step-guide/.

Does anyone have any additional tips or recommendations based on their own experiences?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,
Usually defect issue should looking for the defect department. Each newly completed project sure will have such a department to help house owner to settle this with very user friendly form for you to fill. Unless they refuse to help, then only looking for the government.
Hope above info help.
