Hi, I am a new home (condo) buyer who recently bought a 700 sqf unit during mco. I am planning to rent out my unit after furnishing the unit with the necessary essentials such as installing the grill, table, water heater, aircond, fan, lighting and bed, etc (cost around 20k+)

I assesed the risk of renting and thought about the possibility that the tenants may just pay rent for the first 1or 2 months and quietly steal the furnishings that cost more than the rental deposit.

my question is
i. how do I as a home owner avoid such risk of the home furnishing getting stolen (besides carrying out a tenant profile assessment)
ii. am i as the owner allowed to pay a visit to the unit regularly to check on the condition of the unit. Im not aware if this is a regular practice.

Thank you for reading this. (*secretly hope that sean/iherng can answer my question)
Regards, han
