Hi,

I am a spouse of malaysian citizen. Our budget for the house is 500K. We want to buy it in selangor. I know the foreigners can only own houses above 1M. My wife at the moment do not have income. The question is is it possible to get the joint loan, but with ownership only for malaysian citizen? Do we have any option to actually buy a house with this budget?

Hi, sound like you(man) as foreigner, and your wife as Malaysian but without income(no work). About your concern, as long as the Sale And Purchase Agreement is under Malaysian's purchaser(Your wife), your wife can own property or buy property with any purchase price.
