Hi, my lower unit owner complaint to me that my unit got water leaking. I engaged a contractor and fix the issue immediately after the complaint. I bear the whole cost of the repair. Now the lady owner at the below unit request me to compensate the damages of her unit? Should i pay her? For me, i taking up my resposibility to fix the leaking issue immediately. Is there any law that i need to compensate her damages as this is the condo workmanship problem.
