Carting away owner's contents are tantamount to theft which is a criminal offence. It is hard to stop people from such criminal intent and I have seen this happened to one of the condominium owner in KL where the agent who introduced the Tenant did not do a proper due diligence and required documentation for verification.
You or your agent need to do a proper screening of the Tenant or the Occupant (if rented to a company). Personal identification details,previous addresses and the companies they work with are important. Also make sure the security management are strict when it comes to moving in and out furnitures. Pay your tenant a visit occasionately if possible and monitor your rentals.
