Investing in Malaysia

I am from Canada and currently working in Canada. But i am looking to purchase a property with my wife for retirement. My family income (me and my wife) is roughly about $750,000 RM (converted from Canadian Dollars). Am i able to get approved for Bank mortgage if i am renting out the unit ?

Foreigners are allowed to purchase residential properties in Malaysia provided it is above the minimum threshold value of RM1 million in Kuala Lumpur, RM2 million threshold in the state of Selangor and different threshold in other states.
