I am from South Africa and trying to understand how your rental system works as I Intend to move to Malaysia under the MM2H program soon. When a rental is presented as Price RM 2,000 / month
PSF price RM 1.82 psf / RM 19.57 psm
Kindly explain what the total rental will be on monthly basis.

Usually the rental quoted eg RM2,000/month is the total gross rental that you will have to pay every month. Apart from this gross monthly rental, a tenant is required to pay the monthly bills for electricity, water, sewerage and pipe in supply gas. You need to do your internal housekeeping for your unit. for residentisl rental is normally base on lump sum per month but for commercial will base on RM psf. Read More

The rental will be RM2000 + Electric bill + water Bill. Its base on your usage. Most probably you have to pay the utilities bill by yourself at post office or internet banking and you are paying to the landlord RM2000 nett. Read More
