I am helping an agent sell a property for a finder fee. I am not REN or REA. I have found a prospect who is very interested. If thisbuyer buys the property, how can I make sure agent pays my finder fee? If he does not pay, who can I complain to? BOVEA?

there is nothing you can do since you are not working any property agency.for us agents we ask them to sign a co agency letter before bringing the client to view.For your case it is base on trust.I recently agreed with a introducer to pay 20% of deposit if there is a sale and my company pay promly afyter spa is sign.for futher info you can contact me at 012-3033788  . You have to do it in good faith. If the agent do not pay you the finders fee you do not have any recourse on it as agents are professionally not allowed to collaborate and encourage non registered persons to be involved in property delaings. Read More
