I am looking for a motivated and active agent to come up with a plan to sell/let my property in KL. I have sent messages to a number of agents but it seems their replies are very sluggish. Can someone please advise me on how I can find an agent who would really do the job? Thanks.

Firstly, you will need to hire one that is employed full time by Registered Estate Agencies, regulated by the Board of Valuers, Appraisers & Estate Agents Malaysia. In Malaysia, Agents are called Registered Estate Agents (REAs) and each REA is permitted to hire 20 Real Estate Negotiators (RENs) and an unlimited Registered Probationary Estate Agents / Valuers (PEAs/PVs). There are some of these RENs that are not working full time and currently, the Board is registering and providing ID tags to the RENs. REAs currently carry the old version ID cards in their wallets and Probationers will be issue theirs soon. The reason for this is that the RENs were not properly registered with the Board previously and the Board has launched it's first phase of the stricter control. The REAs, PVs and PEAs are already on the Board's register and can be searched anytime via the Board's website at www.lppeh.gov.my. Visit http://www.itsillegal.com.my/ for more information on illegal Agents and RENs. Thank you. Read More
