I am purchasing a subsale condo unit located in KL which still under master title but freehold.Already paid earnest deposit to property agent & bank loan approved. Just engaged a lawyer & due to the owner is a bumi,my lawyer advised me to do a confirmation with the developer whether this is a bumi lot. I am yet to sign the SPA or sign the Bank's LO as i want the developer confirmation 1st before to commit further. However developer replied to my lawyer but did not mention whether is a bumi lot or not. So my lawyer again write to them to confirm & pending their reply. In this scenario, actually can the developer not reply is a bumi lot or not?Cos i definitely would not want to buy if it is a bumi lot as i foresee risk arised since i am a non-bumi. Seek any professional advise on this.TQ.
