I am renouncing my MY citizenship soon by Mar 2017, I have a property bought in Malaysia since Feb 2012 which the title have yet to transfer over to my name.
1.Can I continue to hold the prop as foreigner? If can, any additional doc required to show that I am the rightful owner?
2.If cant what is the time given to dispose the prop?
3.If I am selling it after change of citizenship, RGPT of citizen or non-citizenship, which one applies?
4.What if selling agreement was signed when I’m still as a Malaysian, but eventually become foreigner when the whole selling is completed?

hi Jerrard, it's advisable to transfer your property to your nearest relatives / parents who's Malaysian. Once you do that, you don't have issue to sell it, query 1 to 4 doesn't apply anymore. You can find a lawyer to do the transfer. You can call me 017 2028991  if you need to dispose your property. i'm agent from Chester Properties based in Melaka. Thanks Read More
