I brought a shoplot at Permas Jaya from a developer. The building is completed and i receive the VP from the developer. As the development (new public road etc) is still pending the government to take over and is closed at the moment, the developer charged us a maintenance fee for the street lighting etc. Is it a standard practice? If the area is a public area, why is the cost passed to us?
