First & foremost, I need to establish whether your propertry is leasehold or freehold. If it is leasehold, how may years are remaining because there may come a critical period whereby a resale will be difficult and the price may be dampened then. Secondly, if your rental income is giving you a positive cash flow, you may want to maintain it as the tenant will be paying for the property that you will eventually owned. If not, you may consider selling it while you can because the monthly maintenance expenses which will increase over time and the bank interest rate will impact on the profit margin, if any. As more and more supply of condominiums coming on stream and the general buying behaviour of wanting new properties most of the time, the prices of older properties not expected to increase a lot over time unless there is another property boom period.
