I paid a lawyer firm recently for handling of strata title for subsale property. However the lawyer firm owner had run away and closed off the premise. How do I proceed next from here? Eg shall I proceed with a police report, shall I make a complaint with Bar Council, shall I appoint new lawyer firm to carry on with handling starta title? Most importantly is there a way for me to recover back the sum that I had paid for this incomplete service? Eg via insuran claim?
