I wish to invest in penang as a foreign investor, and I understand that the cap amount for LANDED properties (houses) shall be above RM 1.0m. However, does the $1.0m minimum cap also applies to condominiums ? If i wish to purchase brand new condominium at about RM 550K, am i still eligible to do so ? My view is that the landed property term only refers to landed houses, and it does not mentioned about condominiums. Hope someone can clear my thoughts.
