I work as a software engineer for a reputable company in the USA. I am a US Citizen and would like to base in KL, but will only have 90 day social visit pass, though I would travel often in and out of KL.

Would landlords have any issue with offering a 12-month lease agreement on a condo in this situation? I am looking into high-mid range of the market, around 3000RM/month. This would be less than 10% of my monthly income.

Any comments/thoughts appreciated.
