Hello, if you are looking to invest and collect rentals then Petaling Jaya will be better off than Shah Alam and if it is form your future stay then it depends on the amenities suited to your needs. Rental income yield for condominiums are slightly higher than landed houses. With your quoted gross income and no commitments you could purchase a property up to RM1.5 million. However, you may not want to max up your investment as this is your first property and you will also need to consider the balance Purchase price of 15% to 20% not funded by the bank deposit payment, stamp duty and the lawyer's fees.
I have both condominiums and link houses for sale in Petaling Jaya and Subang Jaya for sale. Do contact me at my mobile
