I'm a Malaysian. Is it possible to buy a property joint name with a non-local friend? What would be the requirements and can we jointly have housing loan as well? Thanks for your valuable feedbacks in advance.

Good day! Any purchases joint with foreigner will fall under the criteria of minimum threshold of Rm1M for KL address and RM2M for selangor address. However there is a way to not fall under this criteria. And if purchases from Developer, usually foreign consent will not be an issue.
