I'm a student from Sweden planning on moving to Malaysia for a couple of months in 2014-2015. I have been looking at property advertisements on condos, serviced apartments and other apartments in KL (mainly Bukit Bintang and City Centre, e.g. Casa Mutiara) and I have two questions.

1. Is it possible to rent these kinds of apartments for shorter periods, like 4 months? (Remember I'm also a foreigner, does the same rules apply for me as for Malaysians or will I have problems with renting?)

2. What is included in the monthly rental price? Is water, electricity, Internet etc. included or do I need to pay extra for that? If so, how much should might I need to pay if I live in a smaller apartment (between 250-500 sq ft)?

Thank you!
