Me and my husband, both are Malaysian and SPR and bought a Malaysia condo in year 2019. I am planning to convert to Singaporean and my husband remain his Malaysia citizenship. In this case, to avoid any tax disadvantage in case selling off this condo in the future, I am thinking to remove my name from this property before the conversion. Please advise if there any changes to the current mortgage loan structure? And what other possible implications I need to take note upon my decision. Thanks in advance.
