My company had an expatriate who holding employment pass. He wants to buy property below RM 1 Million in Selangor. I want to get advice from property guru can he buy property below RM 1 Million ?

Dear Mr Chong LK, TQ for your question in ASK GURU. For foreigners/expatriates, the following rules applies when wanting to purchase a property in Malaysia: 1) Properties purchased in Kuala Lumpur must exceed RM1 mil. 2) Properties purchased in the State of Selangor must exceed RM 2 Mil.
