My Husband going to renounce Malaysia citizenship. We have purchased one house and have housing loan with bank under our name. I am still Malaysian Please advise how can we keep the house. Appreciate to receive ur professional opinion. Thank you.

Dear Sir/Miss TQ for your question in ASK GURU. As far as I can see, renouncing Malaysian citizenship by your husband will not affect the status of your loan. Please continue to service the instalments promptly. OR if you have the financial resources, you may choose to settle the full outstanding loan, and have the property registered to your name or in the joint names of yourself and husband.
