My tenant intends to re-contract after the present contract ends in next month. - Is it possible to re-contract without engaging the previous property agent. - If i engage the previous agent, how much will the commission be? - Can i re-use the existing tenancy agreement? Dear Wong, As an owner you are at liberty to prepare a new Tenancy Agreement (TA) yourself and contract the existing Tenant. You need to present the TA at the stamping office (Inland Revenue Department) and pay the required stamp fees. Stamp fees are usually paid by the Tenant.
