My wife is a Malaysian in Johore, and currently a PR in Singapore.
She has the intention to apply for Singapore citizen. And has a semi-d in Johore with her sister (Malaysian).
We have the following questions:-
1) Will she be required to sell her landed if her Singapore citizenship is approved?
2) do we need to get a lawyer from Malaysia in the meantime for any paperwork to be done?
3) how will bank financing be affected? (Currently has a small outstanding loan with Maybank)
4) if we decided to sell the property years later after she has her Singapore citizenship, what are the taxes?
Thanks in advance.
