Q. I applied for housing loan and got rejected. Reason was I have an auction record. That record was more than 20 years ago and I don't owe the bank for this. Neither does this auction record appear on my CCRIS or CTOS. But where the bank get this record? Does that mean I can never buy a house?
A: I'm so sorry to saw you have this situation. Maybe few thing you can try. 1) Apply loan from other then this bank(is that the same bank last time auction case?) 2) Find out alternative way to apply loan( some bank can accept you to keep certain amount of FD into their bank to apply housing loan). Bank will forever keep the bad record about borrower past history. Hope above little info you can try to find out.
My REPLY: Actually, the bank that auction was totally different from the bank that I applied for loan. I am just curious where this auction record is reflecting because it is not in my CCRIS or CTOS. Is there any other database that I need to know off?
