Recently I received a letter from the developer informing the house has completed and request me to make payment before the house key release to me. Here are the payments they need me to pay where I'm not agree to:
1) Late payment RM1k++. (The late payment was not my fault, should I write in to the developer to waive it or the cost should bear by the banker?)
2) Service charge pay in advance. (the letter dated 15/12/15 and stated completed, however the developer request me to pay the service charge in advance for the period 16/12/16 - 15/04/17. Should I refuse to pay?)
3) Quit rent-stamp duty (as the letter dated 15/12/15 and the quit rent ended 31/12/15, the developer charge me quit rent in proportion 16 days which is cost RM0.69, however they do add in stamp duty RM10 on it. Is it reasonable for us to pay the stamp duty RM10 for quite rent paid RM0.69?)
