I'm a singaporean. 3 months ago, my fiance (malaysian) rented a place in JB near kastum. I work in singapore monday to friday, travel in and out of malaysia for work. recently i got denied entry to at CIQ. Reason being, im on social visit pass. I was told by the officers in CIQ that staying in malaysia is prohibited. Potentially i can be charged with illegal immigrant and fine up to RM10,000.00.
I was told to return back to singapore and stay for at least a week or a month before trying to enter malaysia again. "a week / a month" because two different officers told me different things. saying that it's the cooling off period.
I cannot hold MM2H as i don't meet any of their criteria and I don't have families that origin from malaysia. I don't know what to do now. my passport is already like half filled already.
