We signed a 1+1 contract and we are renewing it for the +1 portion. The property agent is now asking for a renewal fee equivalent to half a month, despite the fact that we are exercising our right to renew and there was no previous mention of a renewal fee on the contract or in person. She said she will negotiate with the owner to not increase the price of the rent if we pay the renewal charge? Is this a bluff?
