If you are prepared to budget RM1,500/month to pay for the bank loan to purchase a property for 35 years maximum, you may borrow up to RM370,000 subject to your creditworthiness and your other monthly payment commitments. You need to also budget for 15% to 20% downpayment and lawyer's fee, stamp duty etc from your savings.
