KUALA LUMPUR, 22nd September 2026— A new road connection between Jalan Duta Kiara and Jalan Kiara 3 in Mont Kiara has officially opened, providing an additional access route for residents, businesses, pedestrians, and motorists travelling through the area.
The road was officiated by YB Puan Hannah Yeoh Tseow Suan, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories), and Member of Parliament for Segambut, with YBhg. Datuk Seri TPr Fadlun bin Mak Ujud, Mayor of Kuala Lumpur, in attendance.
Hosted by Bon Estates Founder & Chairman Mr Goh Soo Sing, CEO Mr Chan Jin-Wy and the Bon Estates team, the ceremony included a ribbon-cutting to mark the opening of the new connection.
First announced three years ago in 2023, the road was undertaken by Bon Estates as a CSR initiative to improve connectivity within the surrounding neighbourhood.
The completed access comprises a two-lane, two-way road, with one lane in each direction, together with a pedestrian walkway. It provides a more direct connection from Jalan Kiara 3 towards Solaris Dutamas, with onward access to Segambut and surrounding areas.
The additional route is expected to help improve traffic movement along Jalan Kiara 3, particularly during periods of heavier traffic, while giving road users greater choice in navigating the area.

The Good Radius

The road forms part of The Good Radius, an initiative based on the idea that the value of development can extend beyond the boundaries of a development itself.
It reflects Bon Estates’ philosophy of “Living Well Crafted” and its belief that everyone deserves to live better, recognising that everyday living is also shaped by the roads, connections, and neighbourhoods around our homes.
The Bon Estates team
“A road may be simple infrastructure, but its value is in how it improves everyday journeys. We hope this connection will make moving through the area more convenient for the wider community.”

A Meaningful Milestone

The opening comes ahead of the upcoming Vacant Possession of Bon Kiara, Bon Estates’ second high-rise development in Mont Kiara.
Comprising 410 large-format residences, Bon Kiara is now fully sold, with key handover scheduled for October 2026 and the project progressing ahead of schedule.
The road opening and upcoming handover take place in the same year that Bon Estates marks its 10th anniversary in the Klang Valley.
“The completion of Bon Kiara and the opening of this road are two different milestones. One is about delivering homes to homeowners; the other is about contributing to the neighbourhood around them.”
— Mr Chan Jin-Wy, Chief Executive Officer, Bon Estates
Established in 2016, Bon Estates entered the Klang Valley with The Estate South Bangsar, followed by Bon Kiara in Mont Kiara and Yanu Hills, an exclusive collection of 10 bungalows in Melawati.
The new road connection reflects a simple principle behind The Good Radius: developments are part of larger communities, and what surrounds them matters too.
A better connection for everyday journeys. A practical contribution to the neighbourhood.
