Penang Island has been a most sought-after vicinity after Kuala Lumpur and adored by many due to its tranquil setting amidst Mother Nature’s embrace.
The island is fenced by greenish-blue sea water, bestowing a stress-free environment for its residents, besides being a famous tourist destination in Malaysia.
Well-known for its hereditary features, Georgetown in Penang is well-preserved as one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
While Georgetown is famed for its hereditary traits, Seri Tanjung Pinang, on the other hand, is well-recognised for being an affluent neighbourhood. There is a myriad of high-end developments from landed to high rise.
“Penang is a 297 sq km island which mostly consists of hilly ranges that cannot be developed. This results in scarcity of land, especially at prime locations,” says Eastern & Oriental Bhd head of marketing and sales (Penang), Christina Lau.

As to travel via bus, residents can hop on a 102 Rapid Penang bus either from the airport or Komtar Bus Terminal. Besides going to Seri Tanjung Pinang, the bus route also includes places like Batu Ferringhi, Bayan Lepas and Georgetown, to name a few.
Besides that, the First and Second Penang Bridges are located approximately 20 and 30 minutes’ drive away from this vicinity.
