Intan Square is a leasehold commercial area located in PJS 52, 46200, Selangor. Intan Square is situated in the vibrant and bustling area of PJ New Town. Petaling Jaya was originally developed as a satellite township for Kuala Lumpur and still remains a thriving township until today. Its strategic location enjoys a steady influx of customers visiting this area. Intan Square mostly consists of shop-offices. In terms of accessibility, Intan Square is a prime location as it is connected to several major highways and main roads including the Federal Highway, NKVE and LDP which are easily reachable within 15 mins to access Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), Putrajaya and Cyberjaya. For those who prefer using public transport, the nearest LRT stations include Taman Jaya LRT station, Asia Jaya LRT station as well as Universiti LRT station. Many bus and taxi stands are also available nearby. Because of Intan Square’s close proximity to the rest of Petaling Jaya, amenities can be found in abundance. Amenities such as local and international restaurants and eateries, shopping malls, cinemas, churches, mechanics, banks & ATMs, supermarkets, enrichment centres, convenience stores, retail outlets and many more can be found nearby. Intan Square is also situated just beside a Petron gas station. Major malls nearby are Jaya 33, AmCorp Mall, Jaya Shopping Centre and Midvalley Megamall. For recreational activities, Intan Square is near to a few parks such as the Taman Jaya Park and also some children’s playground. Intan Square is also surrounded by residential homes that have been well established. Additionally, there are primary and secondary schools nearby including German School, SK Sri Petaling and SJK (T) Vivekananda. Colleges and higher education facilities are in abundance in this area such as Brickfields Asia College (BAC), Cambridge University Press, City University Malaysia, Despark College (HQ) Automotive & Aircraft Engineering College, Olympia College HQ and many more. At Intan Square, one can find a variety of businesses and offerings such as restaurants such as Imperial Garden Chinese Restaurant which is a Chinese restaurant chain and Palms Café and Bistro which serves western delicacies including wood fire pizzas. Other than restaurants and eateries, there is also a karaoke called Club 3. There isn’t much information on the launching of Intan Square as it has been around for quite some time. It is expected that Intan Square will continue to improve because of its close proximity to other major neighbourhoods in Petaling Jaya.
