Backed by the Kemensah Forest Reserve and home to a Quartz ridge and accompanying mountain range, Melawati is a low-key, low density residential enclave in Ampang Selangor. Spanning 1,200 acres in land size, Melawati is home to the 80 acres Taman Nadayu, which in turn contains the 2-acre integrated serviced apartment called Nadayu63. As to why the property is called Nadayu63? “It’s named after the lot number of the land itself,” says a sales representative of developer Nadayu Properties Berhad.

The Melawati plain is also higher than the rest of the Klang Valley. Celebrate in also knowing that the outside temperature at Melawati is 2 degrees lower than that of the city centre. How cool is that?

Not as distant as places like Semenyih and Kajang, Melawati, which spans 1,200 acres in land size, is probably one of the last pockets of under-developed land in the Klang Valley that is nearest to the Kuala Lumpur city centre, yet is left pretty much intact when it comes to its natural landscape and beauty, although people have started taking up residence there since the 1970s. This is good news for nature enthusiasts and suburban-loving folks!

Considered an established residential enclave north-east of Kuala Lumpur, city-dwellers should be able to locate this relatively low-key and self-sufficient township without much difficulty! For those who aren’t sure, there are 2 access roads to Nadayu63 in Taman Nadayu, one of the residential clusters alongside Taman Melawati, Wangsa Maju, Desa Melawati, Taman Melati, Taman Permata and Kemensah Heights. To get there, a good starting point is Jalan Ampang. Once you reach the end of Jalan Ampang, and reach its connecting point to Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2), make a left turn onto MRR2. Taman Nadayu is also accessible through the New Pantai Expressway (NPE), Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway (DUKE), the Federal Highway, Ampang-Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway (AKLEH), and Jalan Genting Kelang. Both NPE and the Federal Highway links to MRR2. For your information, MRR2 serves about 800,000 motorists per every 15-minute drive! Oh, and if you are worried about the notorious jam that Bukit Antarabangsa is known for, sales representative Audrey says that Melawati is located away from the jam and is well-connected to major highways that can take you away from the jam-packed areas.

As you exit Nadayu63 and make a 9 o’clock turn at the roundabout of Taman Nadayu, you will pass by a school. After passing by this school on your left, you will notice a row of shop houses on the opposite side of the road. That place is called Melawati Square. On your left will be Medan Selera Anjung Melawati.

Summary

Nadayu63 is reachable through a 2-kilometre distance inside of Taman Nadayu via Jalan Taman Melawati. It is quite a drive and is located away from all the amenities and facilities that are fringed along the MRR2 and beyond. However, the developer have in store 42 retail units for the convenience of future residents. If you do not mind this but revel in the idea of being tucked away from the crowds and being amidst nature and tranquility, then Nadayu63 proves to be a good buy to those who are investing for their own stay. This fact is proven because the studio units are especially snapped up faster than the 3-bedroom ones. The final choice is yours to make.

The developer has also taken the time to come up with 2 balconies for residents to enjoy the views.
