Location
The positioning of The Establishment is unique. Although it states Bangsar as its location, the exact site of this premier serviced residence and hotel is in Jalan Ang Seng, Brickfields. Within the area, the development is surrounded by subpar houses and squalors. The roads are pretty narrow and tight, and it would be unadvisable for you to drive into Jalan Ang Seng for now. There is some reprieve though, as new developments are rapidly rising within the vicinity. The Bangsar LRT station located in the opposite direction is a good way to avoid the unpleasantries, if you don’t mind using the public transportation system.
That aside, Brickfields as a town itself is amazing. It is sandwiched between KL Sentral and Bangsar, with Central Market located just slightly further ahead. Apart from its strategic positioning, there are also many Indian residents and businesses that can be found here. Hence, the title Little India was bestowed onto this place. Traffic though, can be pretty bad and congested in this area. But with increasing parking fares and more people using the public transportation systems, things should get better in the future.
