We compared Beacon Executive Suites with two other freehold developments in the vicinity namely, Tropicana 218 Macalister and Sunrise @ Gurney. The result — the development surpassed its contenders in terms of affordability in psf terms. But Tropicana 218 has the lowest starting sell price.

Summary
Beacon Executive Suites’ most attractive attribute is its location as it is nestled within one of the most coveted areas in Penang, Jalan Sungai Pinang. With this prime address, not only is it near downtown Penang, but also close to George Town’s heart, which has been declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
However, its location is also its downside. Because it’s along the river bank of Sungai Pinang, the area where the building is being constructed was flooded in recent years. Nonetheless, Water, Land and Natural Resources Minister Dr A. Xavier Jayakumar announced in September 2018 that they will start phase 3 of the Sungai Pinang Flood Mitigation Plan (RTB) by April 2019. Hopefully, this will solve the area’s flooding woes.
The development is ideal for own occupation as well as an investment property given its sought-after location, which is among the top considerations when buying a home or investment property.
