Hi Wilson,
People sell and buy condominiums for various reasons depending on their risks appetite. What is important is that you do not highly gear yourself because of properties. Properties in the long term hedges against inflation and prices will get higher. Currently it is a good time to cash out some properties to balance your portfolio. Also a good time to scout for reasonably good deals in a favourable environment where banks are still supportive in lending. If you want to wait for recession to buy properties then you must be prepared to use a lot more of your cash then leveraging on banks because interest rates and lending policies may change. Also, getting tenants and good rentals may be more difficult during recession.
